Reman Warship Scimitar
The Scimitar is a huge and highly armed Reman warship constructed under Shinzon to be used for the secret plan of overthrowing the Romulan Senate, to defeat the United Federation of Planets, and free the subjugated natives of Remus. Shinzon wanted to assassinate the Romulan Senate to get the position of Praetor of the Romulan Star Empire. Using the Scimitar, he ended the period of peace by attacking the Federation because he knew it was what the Romulan generals wanted.
The warbird is 890 meter long and has a beam of 1350 meters. Its warp speed is 9.7. It has 52 pulse disruptor cannons, 27 photon torpedo launchers, thalaron radiation emitters, primary and secondary shields, and advanced cloaking device. The Scimitars cloaking technology was considered perfect based on the description of Geordi La Forge. It does not leave residual anti-protons and emits no tachyons, making it impossible to find the ship when this mode is on. The warbird is able to travel at high warp speed and with the weapons and deflector shields on while cloaked, making their technology better than the one used in the Starfleets Sovereign-class.
With its armament, the ship is ready for almost any battle. The thalaron radiation weapon is so powerful that it can strip the life off a planet in a few seconds which is only a small fraction of the seven-minute long period that is needed to prepare it. The primary and secondary shield means it has twice the amount of protection it can get and has a backup shield. Its shuttle bay covers an area of two decks and holds several Scorpion class attack fighters. Compared to the Federations USS Enterprise E and the Romulans Valdore-type war birds, the Scimitar still has an advantage.
