Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter Movie: A Vampire Slaying Film to Watch for
Another science fiction film is set to star up in the big tube. The Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter takes a cue from other vampire films. But this film gives a new twist and makeover to the vampire hunter, who is by the way teeming with vengeance. The entire setting of the film is based on Abraham Lincolns quest to decapitate and eliminate a legion of so-called blood sucking monsters to protect his nation.
This sci-fi film is based on the novel by Seth Graham Smith. Benjamin Walker stars as the 16th president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. Walker is devastated when his mother died in the hands of these vampires. And from then on, he set himself on a bloody mission to eradicate these bloodthirsty vampires.
The book from which the film isbased has a tinge of slavery, but isn’t featured much in the film itself. Although the title of the film connotes an entire story that focuses on the hunt for these bloodthirsty vampires, the book concentrates on the entire life of the president Lincoln. All of his accomplishments are noted and the vampire slaying mission is just secondary. The vampire hunter story is even utilized to explain negative occurrences throughout his career. The story is also based on the secret diaries Lincoln was supposedly keeping.
